No surprise there.

A considerable part of the Republican agenda boils down to one simple fact - history has passed them by, and they don’t have enough popular support to win legitimately.

Faced with that situation, they broadly have two alternatives - to change to accommodate a changing world or to lie and cheat in order to try to win in spite of their lack of popular sppeal.

And they’ve chosen the latter.
