So it is widely accepted nowadays that evolution is not a race to absolute dominant perfection. This is a good thing in many ways. Not in the least because if it were, lichen would be the winner and would reign over us and all the other feeble peasantry that are non-lichen.

After watching Scavengers Reign, I find this disturbing.
