Conservatives went from demonizing Muslims to wooing them because of creeping self-awareness. It would almost be hilarious if it wasn’t true. That conservatives could actually stand to peel off a large chunk of black voters if they simply stop supporting racially disparate legislation and procedures. But they just can’t help themselves because they always need a scapegoat. And can’t actually focus on solving real problems.

There’s Christian conservatives, and Muslim conservatives, but those are just two points on the same sphere.
