Not my footage but thought SteamDeck owners might be interested in seeing this.

Unexpected but looks like some bad frame rate dips here and there with around 20fps in most scenes where there’s a few things going on.

    XVI’s graphics are no joke–by far the most detail I’ve ever seen in any game. It’s never gonna run well. I’m impressed it’s running at all.

      It’s surprised me as well. There’s some scenes, areas and fights that aren’t in this demo that I imagine will just cause a deck to grind to a halt.

      XVI’s animations (outside of important scenes) is not up to par with the older Horizon: Forbidden West, though. Comparing any game to Forbidden West’s motion capture is like putting it through a meat grinder. It’s dead. Wish XVI didn’t border on “high quality animations” syndrome, sometimes.

    It’s what I expected. I don’t think it’s going to get much better than that. It’s playable though if you don’t care much about frame consistency.

        sorry; i tried to add them in case but yeah i use boost too on mobile and they’ve always been broken in there. i tried to be as vague as possible about it though
