Other than maybe a few more jokes about being hot and bothered, I don’t really see any reason much of it would need to change…? I mean either you have eye candy for straight women/gay men, or you have eye candy for straight men/gay women.
It’s not like they made Carter some one-dimensional thing, why would they do it with the other cast?
They’d probably need new lore tho to explain why it’s all women.
(Admittedly I’ve only watched sg-1 and the movies, so this may not apply more broad-ly)
You remember Anise/Freya the Tokra, played by Vanessa Angel? Yeah, she’s in the show basically as an answer to Seven of Nine.
I honestly don’t, but if that in sg-1 ima need to rewatch it, as it’s been a hot minute…
Been rewatching xena for the xena/gabriel relationship undertones, which Lucy lawless only admitted to grocking upon post-film rewatch, even tho there’s so so so so much that should have clued her in… why not sg-1 for a hot chick I guess…?
I like 7 because she’s an autist-coded character, like data. Is this freya like that?
Anise/Freya is a Tokra so she’s actually two characters but in this case it doesn’t matter much. She guest stars in 3 or 4 episodes in the middle seasons, and in almost all cases she shows up with an experiment that she’s being a little too ambitious about and has a major oops moment.
That’s a very long and serious analysis of a horny shitpost.
TIL: 5 sentences is “very long” ;)
It is when you’re typing with one hand.
It is when breaking down a two sentence joke.
Ahh, no my friend. That’s not how these things work at all.
People spend pages and pages breaking down short jokes. 5 sentences is still short. Even if the source that literally asks us to think about a complicated thing and asks a question about said complicated thing is 3 sentences shorter.
If the pilot episode had its way
But there already are. S7 E10 Birthright.
All Jaffa.
Teal’c. Bra’tac. Everyone.
Bra’tac. Bra. Tac. Tactical bra and shorts, like Lara Croft, but bearded. You’re welcome.
I’m not sure what I’m welcome for, but alright.
Welcome for the mental image.
It doesn’t, really.
