Yeah because the first thing on my to-do list is to pre-order movies.
This is a sign that they already know it’s a piece of shit and they just want to grab some of the cash before everybody else knows as well.
There’s actually a huge overlap between people who love this movie and wish more people supported it, and people who collect physical media. This is a smart move.
While this is a cash grab to a degree, it’s probably more about funding the marketing budget for the sequel than just getting rich.
