    Awesome.

    I’ve no idea why, but the Polish could make the 800-series sing. An entire generation of bedroom coders getting their games onto top tier labels like Zeppelin, Mastertronic etc.

    Janusz Pelc springs to mind, he (she?) seemed incapable of writing a bad game, super talented.

    It fills me with hope that this RM800 will do well.

        I still remember typing JPELC at the Mission: Shark title screen to toggle cheats.

    So this is a MISTer-style FPGA device hardwired to emulate an Atari 800, with an RISC CPU (presumably ARM) supervising it? I wonder how hard it will be to get it to run other systems of a similar calibre (say, C64 or ZX Spectrum, or for that matter, arcade boards)

    this thing looks super slick. FPGA microcomputer clones have been around forever but they’re often just boxes with PS/2 keyboard ports. it’s always nice to see someone go the extra mile and recreate the original form factor. computers were meant to be wedge-shaped, damnit!
