On the official Twitter account, the team announced that an online showcase talking about Monster Hunter Now’s release date and gameplay will be held this July 27, 2023, at 4:00 AM PDT or 1:00 PM CEST. The live stream will be held on the game’s YouTube channel but not much else was shared on the tweet.

Weird, I could of sworn I had just recently read an article about how Niantic was closing down their other dev efforts to further support Pokemon GO
You aren’t wrong. They did close shop on two recently, an NBA game and the Harry Potter skinned Pokémon Go game.
