Memories of Civ II, taking out several tanks with my knight
I think Civ3 was the last where you could do this due to the crazy rng, and maybe even in the 4th as well.
Civ 6 has an achievement for killing a tank with Gaesatae, which is a Warrior replacement for Gaul.
