Very good article, as usual from Mother Jones. I’m not sure any other publication could cover these issues with this degree of tact and openness.

My theory on the answer to that question: They didn’t want to give the Trump campaign any extra fuel to run swing state ads that claim dems are pro-hamas. It’s already a difficult argument to fend off due to the nuances and variability of the protest movement, and unfortunately, plenty of American voters just don’t know the difference between hamas and innocent Palestinians.
