    For giveaways like this the sponsor will, if they’re competent, get insurance that covers the cost if a contestant wins. It might be their insurance company that is the issue, not the dealership.

      Although I will say that the out of pocket cost to the dealership for a 2 year lease probably isn’t worth the bad press.

      I mean, if it’s a lease, they’re not even giving away the car. Just renting it for a couple years.
