Shutting down hospitals in an already overstrained system… that will surely help the citizenry of Springfield.

There’s a difference between shutting down and going into lockdown. They’re securing the buildings not kicking everyone out
Usually this means all non critical care is stopped and people sent home. Regardless there will even be less throughput.
