Of course it is. Without data to harvest and sell these big tech companies don’t exist.
Was never a If, but a When.
That’s why it’s so important to block ads/tracking not only in the web browser but at the network level.
And while they serve a purpose, they aren’t really missed in any significant way when gone.
15 years ago, we might have missed google. There were other options then, but they were worse. Now google is worse.
But is it worth anything if you add data value and subtract running costs??🤔
