    Fun fact: the “game about nothing” actually started development as Seinfeld 64, but ended up being released as Animal Crossing.

    You think that sounds like a good idea, but the alternate universe Seinfeld game was like this universe’s Blues Brothers game.

    Have you ever noticed that every time they come out with a new console, they add buttons to the controller? What’s up with that? A, B, select, start, and the D-pad. I don’t need more than that! up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A and Start! That’s it!

    The universe where Namco licensed this was alright. They’d string together excuses for overhead shots that duplicated 80s arcade games, so you’d get an office laid out like Pac-Man with George snagging Post-Its and avoiding managers, and then miniature Pole Position since Kramer was locked in a Scalextric rivalry with some child… but you never got Frogger because that was Konami.

    You needed a GameShark code to disable the laugh track. Needed.
