Hagari warned residents in southern Lebanon to leave areas where the armed group has positions. Civilians in the area received calls with the same message.

“We advise civilians from Lebanese villages located in and next to buildings and areas used by Hezbollah for military purposes, such as those used to store weapons, to immediately move out of harm’s way for their own safety,” he told journalists.

Yeah because that helped save so many Palestinians when they listened to that advice from Israel.

IDF: Lebanon civilians, leave your houses as we want to destroy the munitions Hezbollah is hiding in them without hurting you.

Hezbollah: Stay in your houses and protect our rockets with your bodies stand up to the zionist enemy!

Only one of those 2 groups has a proven track record and an international reputation of deliberately massacring civilians and it isn’t Hezbollah. Saying Israel only wants to blow up munitions depots and not kill civilians is outright dishonest.

Is listing a few incidents on one side meant to discredit my claim where the other side is evil? Would you like to go over the number of war crimes Israel has committed? Do you have a couple of days? Because that would be the time needed to go over just the ones from the past year.

Reminding you this is what you wrote. That’s what my reply was aimed at. I didn’t write anything about Israel.
What I linked to is only some examples, not everything. And the 1st link contains quite a lot of events.

Lebanese, Syrians and Kurds have been suffering from Hezbollah for many years.

Reminding you that you’re free to go over my comment again and realize that all I was talking about is their level of reputation and not absolving one side of anything. You had to go back decades to give me a handful of examples for Hezbollah. I can probably double that number for Israel from just the past week. That’s what I was addressing.

Are you delusional? The IDF literally sent text messages, made phone calls and even blasted a message on Lebanon radio urging civilians who were near Hezbollah weapons to get the fuck away. Why do that if they want to kill civilians?

Did they notify the people with beepers as well? Oh wait…No they blew them all up causing a lot of potential civilian casualties and created a new entry on the very exhaustive list of war crimes the country commits. Israel has routinely escalated the conflict and left the Lebanese people with no choice but to retaliate. Just because they said “Hey, we’re going to attack indiscriminately against Hezbollah so move away from any Hezbollah locations even if they are top secret and you don’t know they exist.” does not excuse them of the atrocities they commit. You don’t sympathize with a schoolyard bully when one of the other students finally decides to fight back.

Schoolyard bully? Fighting back? Remind me who started firing rockets across the Israel-Lebanon border last October. Because it sure as shit wasn’t the IDF.

Israel didn’t start the current conflict with Hezbollah and, apart from preemptively destroying their rockets and drones and taking out terrorists along the southern border, didn’t ‘escalate the conflict’. The beeper incedent most likely disabled quite a few of them.

And another thing, do you really think a family living right under a big ass rocket don’t know it’s there?

Remind me who is slaughtering innocent civilians wholesale and performing ethnic cleansing? And yes, Israel did start the current conflict, and they did escalate it. Hezbollah wouldn’t have been so inclined to intervene if Israel were fighting Hamas only. Genocide and ethnic cleansing of their neighbors is something they don’t seem to abide by, apparently.

All you’re doing is trying to excuse the disgusting actions of a genocidal state headed by a madman who is so afraid of letting go of power he would rather plunge a whole region into war then let go. It’s pretty sad and pathetic.

They’re just going to repeat the same atrocities as in Gaza with the same gaslighting knowing the US and corporate media will faithfully support and cover for them no matter what.
