I would have gone the other way with this. Cat is like “what the hell is this thing?” Then goes to lay down somewhere.
Egyptians didn’t worship cats per se. They were scared of them.
Where do you get that from? According to Wikipedia they were praised by Egyptians for killing rodents, snakes and crop-destroying birds. That’s why several deities had cat-heads.
