I just logged in and checked my reddit account, and all my deleted posts have come back.
Happend to me too. My comments were partially restored. I deleted everything again today. I hope it stays this way.
If this is only being done to deleted posts/comments, then perhaps it would make sense to overwrite them with a protest message or something?
I overwrote mine using Redact. The default is to put up random words, possibly to screw with AI miners.
As far as I’m concerned, they can have my posts and comments, they’re just not getting any more than that. My account is gone anyway.
As data ages, it should depreciate in value.
If youre in the EU you can make them delete it all, and if they dont you can cause trouble for them by reporting them to your country’s data protection office
