      Filling your lawn with native plants and making it friendlier to fireflies will go a lot further than buying fireflies to live in an area where they have no habitat to reproduce. If you build rewild it, they will come!

      While you might not want to completely eliminate your lawn, [email protected] is a good resource for ideas on how to rework your lawn to benefit your local wildlife.

    I remember there were so many around when I was a kid. I barely see any of them now. It’s honestly one of the most depressing things
