      I don’t know about bigger, but definitely equally important.

      Google controls one of two major web browsers** and is also the largest ad company. They have too much conflict of interest and too big a role in how people use the internet. Most recently this was punctuated by Manifest V3 which, among other things, largely neuters ad block plugins.

      ** Safari is Mac only and doesn’t count.

        If you only look at the US (which a US court should) - it’s really between Chrome and Safari Mobile, and it’s a pretty even split to be honest - a bit in the favor of safari for mobile traffic, which is telling.

        But the bigger issue is that they have undue influence in technical decisions to the detriment of consumers because they have a vertically integrated business.

    So what? They’re going to push it to the Supreme Court and he’s just going to buy them each a yacht. It’ll get pointed out in the nightly news everyone will shrug and we go right back to business.
