All proprietary code only exists to cover up true piracy and incompetence. Subscriptions for this garbage in general is a blank check scam like highway robbery. Paying any subscription for software or media is funding piracy and criminal extortion.

There was GPL code used in the project. That was misappropriated; stollen.
It is an abstraction of where proprietary garbage has lead the world.
It is holding this up as an example of what else is out there. You know, application of information in a broader scope. I’m sorry if that is a challenge.
Then just say there was GPL code in the project instead of that barely connected tangent. Or start with that before your tangent.
