That’s not a very good poem
Well, it would seem Uncle Abe was a better politician than a poet.
I think he did pretty good, so I’m not sweating the poetry
I mean it sounds more like a silly limerick making fun of a guy who “couldn’t get any girl to agree” to marry him than any sort of queer positive messaging. If anything it reads as kind of homophobic to me, suggesting that two guys end up together because no girl would ever want them. But i mean representation i guess?
