In mid-October, Steven Douglas Lloyd of Knoxville was found dead in a staged bear attack that was allegedly linked to Nicholas Wayne Hamlett.

Authorities believe Hamlett befriended and lured Lloyd into the woods to kill him and assume his identity.

The FBI confirmed Hamlett’s identity through fingerprints.
