The game has some really cool ideas, really neat stages, and excellent music. I’d totally be down for a competent version of the game.

The fan remake P-06 proves this game has really good potential when all the glitches are cleaned up.

Not a bad thing. Deeply flawed games can be remade better than the original.

Dead Space, arguably one of the best Horror games ever made, was horribly held back by the engines it was made on and the workarounds they had to use. The remake was so much better from a technical standpoint, and is universally regarded as the best way to play it. So yeah, you’re right.

Interesting. I’m playing dead space for the first time really now on RPCS3 and it’s pretty clear how the space station is sectioned off into “levels.” But aside from that, the biggest issue that I notice is how there aren’t really any cutscenes, just those basic voice messages. I chalk this up to EA being greedy EA.

Imagine if it (somehow) clears production and completes to wrap up in 2026

20th anniversary of '06. The mind boggles

I genuinely like a lot of the ideas behind it, such as the setting, but the execution looks to be completely abysmal.

Because the original game isn’t bad on a conceptual level, it’s just dragged down but being buggy as shit.

Good. The game looked good from the outside, and it was definitely something I wanted to buy as a kid.

Real sad it turned out how it did, but I think they can make something incredible if they took another crack at it.
