Sadly, this is far too little, far too late. Ukraine can’t do anything measurable to Russia in seven weeks that is going to change anything material about the military context. Then Trump will come in, reinstate the ban, tell Ukraine to end the war, likely stop all arms shipments, and then wait. Russia has literally nothing to gain from changing their posture to anything but more aggressive.
