Years ago I went to Istanbul. They have a Military Museum that has tons of helmets/armor/etc, like this piece, from all periods of Turkish history. A seriously amazing collection, if ever you go there.
There is also an amazing Archaeology museum that covers all the civilizations of that region. It’s also amazing.
