      Looks like a Master Lock 141D, a 4-pin with loose tolerance. Picking the third or fourth pin with a little torque usually pops it. Sometimes you have to set two pins, but not very difficult. Shake, torque, rake, open

    A family member did something as juvenile: he tried to break a computer server on which I had a lot of valuable projects after we’d argued. He didn’t succeed. And since things I valued were just toys to break when he was being petulant, it ruined our relationship.

    I hope the situation OP describes is just in fun.

      Sorry to hear about your bad experience. Notice how no glasses were destroyed. Seems just to be a sign of a funny relationship
