Ref really seemed in over her head in this game, completely ignoring the cards in her pocket until late in the game, allowing hair pulling and continual grabbing by the Dutch all game.
This whole World Cup has been so physical, I’m starting to suspect FIFA asked the refs to be more lenient on fouls.
Maybe, but I can’t imagine they meant to allow hair pulling.
