The previous owners just spotted their TV in the listing and are on their way back for it. That might be a deal-breaker for some.

I love how the TV is too high anyway, but as if to emphasize, the power cable doesn’t reach the socket

I like how you can sit on the kitchen counter and do dishes on the opposite side of the kitchen… in either sink.

This screams “weird cult” to me. Why a fireplace in the basement? To kill the victims with carbon monoxide?

To be fair “weird cult” and/or “murder house” describes at least half the posts in this community.

I kind of like the quirky design, but it definitely needs some TLC. There are some nice flourishes, but the layout could be a deal breaker. It’s hard to judge from the photos.

The person who sent it to me described it as “The Winchester Mansion on a budget.”

For an 1800s house (apparently) it is in remarkable good condition. Houses built prior to indoor plumbing tend to be wonky and rarely a clean or easy update to modern living standards.

All things considered the worst part of this house is being in Ohio.

You want to maintain your murder house so you don’t get people in to do repairs and see the body parts hanging on meat hooks.
