It’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. So back when it was time to prosecute Trump for his list of supervillain crimes, it was insanely important to maintain the norms of civil procedure and decency, because we couldn’t set a politicizing precedent that might be misused in the future. We had to take our time, be civil about it, and now it’s too late. But now that it’s you in the terrifying crosshairs, you’re going to set the whole politicizing precedent on fire and give him even more runway he doesn’t need, to politicize the course of justice in the United States, because it’s you and your friends in danger. And millions of Mexicans who might go to concentration camps, among many many other people who aren’t rich or well-connected, are still on their own to look after themselves, from the cancer you let fester.

Get fucked. I won’t say I hope you pardon your friends and he laughs at your pardon and puts them in prison anyway without trial, because I would rather that someone resists that effort also, in a serious way instead of just writing get-out-of-fascism-free passes for their friends on their way out of the building. I hope it all doesn’t work. But fuck you for this being your solution.

The general US public voted in favor of doing away with norms. Dems tried to keep it up but with the evidence in front of them, why try to maintain the high ground on an unstable cliff?

Honestly leaning towards a “Fuck it, Biden should pull what we think Trump will so we can get supreme court precedent saying “no” since it’s not a republican doing it.”

The pardon rule is one of dumbest laws I ever heard 😂 it is like, yea we do separation of power just for fun, but when we really need the separation, we just don’t give a fuck about it. so stupid…

The other stupid thing in US democracy setup are the supreme court members who are set by the fucking president for their lifetime! Who comes up with this shit?! How does anyone think this makes sense?

And of course the voting districts. Those are so wired and prevents many people from having a valuable voice/vote.

Please, US people, fix these, snd maybe consider to have more than just two parties.
