Lol @ dark souls 2 being entirely carried by dark souls. Honestly I think ds2 was like an 8/10 game overall but ds1 was like 25/10 and it made ds2 look like hot garbage in comparison. Also let’s be honest about demons souls… I loved that game to death but it was clunky and ugly on the ps3 lol.

For whatever reason, I played the PS3 version for the first time when the remake came out. It was fun, but you are so right.

I don’t get it? I haven’t played demon souls or bloodborne but have beat the rest multiple times

It’s just a take on that unfinished horse drawing meme, saying that the games all rock.

Usually there are some bad parts, like in this one for Game of Thrones:

Ah! Ty! I would just say elden ring was the low point for me. Not terrible, just not great. But im also kind of weird because i loved DS2.

It was definitely a departure from the more linear, curated experience. I enjoyed it a lot, but I’m very ready for another linear FromSoft game with less travel and more boss time.

I honestly much preferred ER on a first playthrough, but unlike other souls games (where I had more fun on subsequent playthroughs with different builds) the game got worse during subsequent playthroughs by a substantial margin. The open world started feeling more like a chore than a journey
