    Polluting isnt terrorism.

But the fact that the people in charge just let them exploit and pollute without obstruction while legally armed patrols stand ready to detain critical voices. That is terrorism.

Subject: Urgent Action Needed to Address CSX Coal Terminal Pollution in Baltimore

    Dear Governor Moore,

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the ongoing pollution caused by the CSX coal terminal at Curtis Bay in Baltimore. As a resident of Maryland, I am alarmed by the negative health and environmental impacts that this facility has on our community, particularly on vulnerable populations who already face disproportionate exposure to harmful pollutants.

The emissions and dust from coal handling operations are well-documented sources of air and water contamination. It is unacceptable that residents of Baltimore are being subjected to the risks of respiratory illnesses, cardiovascular diseases, and environmental degradation due to these practices. The fact that the facility continues to operate without sufficient accountability and oversight is deeply troubling.

I urge you to take immediate action to ensure that CSX is held accountable for the pollution it is causing in our city. This includes enforcing stricter environmental regulations, requiring the company to implement measures to significantly reduce emissions and dust, and ensuring that the community’s health and well-being are prioritized. Additionally, I request that the state work towards transitioning away from fossil fuel-based industries in favor of cleaner, sustainable energy options that do not pose a threat to public health.

Baltimore deserves a future where its residents are not exposed to toxic pollutants simply because of the location of their homes and workplaces. I trust that, under your leadership, Maryland will take meaningful steps to address this critical issue and protect the health of all its citizens.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing about the actions you will take to hold CSX accountable and reduce the environmental harm caused by its operations.

    Sincerely,
