Dad put me in one, 2 weeks, 2 summers. It was all indoors though.
We met the guy in his living room and he sold dad on it. We spent a week learning BASIC on VIC-20s and the next week we teamed up and wrote our own video games. Ultimately that led me into IT work in my 30s.
Assembly Language, Advanced Electronics, and Artificial Intelligence. Oh yeah, those 3 things in one sentence.
