          Isn’t flatpak closer to a container than to a native app? Nonetheless, cpak is just an experiment. The cpak community is almost nonexistent.

              Oh, yeah. I get what you’re saying. Portable apps are great for power users. But an app store and a mobile-like permission system are ideal traits for more mainstream users.
