Meme reads, “ADHD in normal circumstances: ‘I have no idea what’s happening and I am grossly underprepared for everything and falling apart, pls send help’ ADHD in times of CRISIS: (smiling emoji wearing sunglasses) I have been training for this moment my entire life. Stand back, weaklings, I’ve got this covered.”

Checks out. Have had to call an ambulance a few times and have been calm and collected throughout.

A conference call at work with an irate customer? Not so much. Give me some blood or gore any day of the week (as long as it’s not my own).

Add childhood trauma and first aid training to this and you’ve got me ordering poor scared kids running a drive through to bring me their first aid supplies and call paramedics, treating my patient for shock, and refusing to leave my new charge until paramedics (not just police) are on the scene.

I was at my therapist for my diagnosis.

Went down, the entrance door was locked.

Another girl was there, completely confused.

I just opened the window and stepped out in like 5 seconds.

Walking around the building, she was still standing there.
