Suburbanites sure love to place their TVs above fireplaces for some reason. Dude is at least 6’ and that TV still placed too damn high.

    Sometimes based on the room layout there’s just no other place to put it.

      Because of bad architecture. Good chance this house is in the south like Houston and yet still has a fireplace.

      While back I was looking at home in that area and 9/10 had fireplaces in a climate that maybe sees one or two days below freezing a year.

        I think this particular episode featured a family in some Dallas suburb. Right state, just wrong city. Unfortunately, TX is kind of plagued with a bunch of houses like this though. I guess at some point in the 90s-00s, a fireplace was a “thing to have” rather than something you needed out of necessity. It’s more decorative lol.
