If AI ends up writing all code anytime in the next few years we are all in trouble. Because most AI-generated code is pretty horrible. Anything outside of unit tests and really rudimentary functions is often riddled with bugs.
Assuming it even works at all! I’ve seen it hallucinate entire libraries complete with made up function calls!
Don’t forget to throw that obligatory “AI will make people so much more creative” canard in, just in case not everybody is totally convinced AI really isn’t used by corporations solely to fire employees and save on salaries.
