The unfortunate part is the two counties in KS most affected currently are two blue counties. They’re the more densely populated part of the state being part of the Kansas City metro. Sucks 😔

This is in the KC metro. It’s happening in bluer counties. Also, I bet it’s happening in Missouri too but I haven’t heard anything.
Red state, red problems. Blue dots are still red states—unfortunately. The “Find Out” period will be wildly entertaining. The leopard show is having an amazing season.
This seems like an unnecessarily cruel opinion. It seems shortsighted to wish illness on people trying to do better when the odds are against them.
If you want to turn these states blue, you can’t celebrate kill off all the blue voters. In fact, the US House district this is happening in, flipped a red seat blue in 2018.
There are plenty of red voters there who will meet the same fate. It’s 2025, and we are backsliding as a species. You’ll have to forgive me for having very little sympathy at this point.

My state will override Trump and supply vaccines, I have no doubt.

Apparently they’ve been monitoring this cluster for years, and this many cases is typical for a major city metro area. One of my friends works in public health, specifically TB, and this is basically the baseline.
I’m sure the white house has a plan for dealing with this. By making it worse. Hey, a bad plan is still a plan.
The first world paint job is cracking if it’s not already fully off.
