this is such a strange story and I can’t wait to hear what they were doing.

According to the article the company was in the biotech sector, but merely not licensed to operate in California.

So while being illegally operating there, they are by no means an illegal or unlicensed entity in general.

That was such an unreal story that I wondered if I was on some sort of satire site!
