An epidemic of cholera is spreading among Russian military personnel in Kherson Oblast and Crimea following a Russian terrorist attack onthe Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant, the Atesh partisan movement reported on Telegram on June 17.
If left untreated, cholera has a 25-50% mortality rate. Treatment reduces this to less than 1%. Bacteriological diagnosis of cholera is reasonably easy because cholera bacteria are abundant in stool. Epidemics, however, often occur in areas with either limited or no laboratory facilities.
Let’s hope for the higher percentage
@lusterko They must not be getting access to clean water. Hoping that if the Orcs can’t get bullets or working kit they can’t get cholera tests. Seems like having it takes them out of a fight or renders them ineffective until (if) they get diagnosed and treated. All to the good I hate the rat bastard Russians.
