Cool, we can add women with pregnancy complications to the list of mass murders he’ll be responsible for.

both sides have always supported states rights and Trump will be no different

in the US states can act on their own agency regardless of federal say no matter how much you want the fantasy of Democrat Saviors of the People to be true or if Trump is in office

the fifty states individually operate as they want regardless of federal or other states - see cannabis, abortion, education standards, healthcare, workers’ rights, etcetera

before Roe v. Wade the cracks were a lot less but still showing but now all the laws that Roe v. Wade held up are in question and in particular how much sway the federal government has over states and abortion/women’s rights is not the only thing Roe v. Wade held up

slaves are perfectly legal if the legal wording is right and corporations use slaves from prisons without paying them all the time

prisons include people that are zooed only because of things like the drug war or some other low-level reason that could include any of us

Then why can’t we own slaves anymore?

The amount of sense this makes is directly proportional to how much punctuation was used.

As someone who is trying to have their first child through IVF, this stuff scares the shit out of me.

Anti-abortion prevents births! Women aren’t going to want to risk getting pregnant if they don’t have that safety net if things go wrong.

EDIT: I meant to say anti-abortion prevents births

Yeah, not so sure it’s a good idea to try and have a kid for at least the next four years.

I know, but I have no choice. If we wait anymore we will be too old. Also testicular cancer gave me a low sperm count. Hence the IVF. And in 4 years I’m probably going to be shooting blanks.

Oh absolutely, I’m not sure it’s possible for us to wait four years. The question will be are kids worth the risks when you have a country making proper healthcare illegal.

I got my fallopian tubes removed the last time he got elected. Really really grateful to my past self, because I do not have health insurance this time around.

I don’t have the energy to cite my sources right now, but I remember hearing that IUD procedures went up something wild like 900% right after the 2016 election. The stats are definitely out there somewhere.

            Be well, stay safe xx

My wife and I are in the same boat. This will definitely lower the birth rate, which seems to be something these freaks care about a lot.

Reposting my comment from another thread:

For anyone that needs this information, you can (currently) order abortion medicine (mifepristone and misoprostol) online in any state. I did it a few days ago and it was stupid easy to do. I’m not pregnant, but I wanted to order some as a just-in-case for myself or others.

The Plan C website has a great list of websites you can order from if you’re not pregnant. It costs about $150 and some offer financial assistance if you need it. But please do it NOW while you still can.

I ordered one from Aid access and one from safe choice. Both asked a few questions that didn’t ask for personal information or ID. They mostly just need an email, address to send it, and a credit/debit card to pay.

Some clarifications from other posters that may be helpful: this medication will keep up to 2 years when stored in a cool dry place. This is also different than plan B. Plan B is usable up to 120 hours after sex and does not require prescription. Where as mifepristone and misoprostol require a prescription (obtainable through these sites) and are usable up to 13 weeks of gestation. You may be able to obtain them at your local pharmacy with a prescription in a legal state (for now).

    Good luck out there everyone.

Oh, wow, so surprising. About as surprising as every other Republican/Conservative who said the same thing. It’s almost like their “States’ Rights” stance is utter bullshit, just like it was for their justification of the Confederacy’s legitimacy in the Civil War. Oh, wow, maybe they’re just all racist, sexist pieces of shit?

    Oh, wow.
