She apparently is worth about 10 million before she had a massive hit this summer according to The only source.
That means this donation is at the very most 1/400th of her wealth.
I’m worth 25k myself. So 1/400th of that is like if I donated 60 bucks.
It’s also not their job to provide healthcare for other artists. The point is to make the labels look like the assholes they are, not cover the bill
I get you, but I think it’s still a good thing that they’ve committed to this amount, regardless of how much their net worth is. It’s better than nothing and with regards to Chappell Roan, I really get the impression that she puts the effort and the work in to lift people up. I think that’s worth celebrating.
