So I’ve had this in the back of my head since watching one of the first videos by The Game Theorists. They mention the series may take place in the 90s, which kinda explains the ancient computer and be headset in the pilot. I suspect it goes further and maybe there wasn’t enough memory for Caine to properly catalogue humans vs NPCs.
