Yeah I’m not a fan of this take. It’s implying that people have a responsibility to sacrifice their mental health and follow depressing news they can do nothing about.
Unless you plan to do something about the news, all you’re really accomplishing is making money for the big news organizations by giving them traffic (if even that).
