I had low expextationa for the movie but man whas it disappointing. More cringy than Discovery and somehow even less connected to the lore than it.

!Why would the terran empire make teenagers kill themselves to choose the new emperor? Is it an episode of squid game? Why is Filippa in the 24th century and how do section 31 knows she is there? She reached it from the 32nd century, why wouldn’t they assume she’s still there? She built a doomsday device capable of destroying an entire quadrant and detonated it, why the prime nor the mirror universe suffered no consequences? Why did they set her and the other forgettable guy to die, but in the next scene they are drinking as nothing happened and their friend didn’t just die?!<
