I think it’s important to remember that most conservatives don’t see any difference between Hamas and Palestinians in general, so when Rubio says “Hamas must be eradicated” what he actually means is “all Palestinians must be eradicated”
That’s something hamas did to themselves. They used civilians as meat shields purposely embedding themselves in places that they cannot be killed without inflicting civilian casualties. What they are doing is a war crime. For practical purposes there is no difference.
