It would be all ok if pricing wasn’t so fucked up. MSRP number is just total bs and people who pay double of it are idiots who are encouraging this bs. I guarantee you if warehouses remained full of these overpriced graphic cards and shit would fix itself.
Doesn’t bode well for the 5080 considering the price differential relative to the 5070 Ti is almost certainly going to be way more than 25%.
The MSRP 5070ti cards are already at 900$ at Microcenter, it doesn’t bode well for PC enthusiasts, every other parasite in the supply chain will be eating well. The best part is people like Jayz et al are blasting the AIBs but this all happens because NV sets the MSRP to unsustainable levels considering what they charge for silicon, completely eroding the AIB margins only to sell a PR spin on the price of its cards. EVGA saw the writing on the wall and noped TF outta there.
I would expect the 5080 cards to be more than 25% in price relative to comparable $900 5070 Ti cards.
Nvidia definitely set completely unrealistic MSRP prices.
