Testing indicates you currently can’t QT directly to ship markers in the current 4.0.2 build. Bonus testing: I did end up relogging when I was at the Arccorp medical center after a CTD using the inventory kiosk so I can verify ship and death markers do persist after relogging (so long as you rejoin the same server).
