Sepang is a fantastic track, but the locals can’t afford the tickets. Every time the f1 circus came into town they have to ferry literal busloads of people to fill the stands so they wouldn’t look empty.
Source: sat at 12 o’clock at turn 15 and watched Eddie Irvine spin out right in front if us during a session. Can’t recall if fp3 or quali. My ticket was sponsored by PETRONAS.
