Basically the /r/No_Mans_sky of Lemmy is going to go here. I have high hopes for the current community, but if you’re feeling too much Big Brother at anytime, I have prepared an alternative.

r/No_Mans_Sky has a Galactic Hub mod. Every NMS subreddit does. Good luck but I don’t think we need multiple general NMS communities here - that was only necessary on Reddit early on because NMSTG allowed the main subreddit to become so toxic.

It was not always that way. I don’t think it was understood at the time by some of my cohorts just how politically charged of a decision adding a faction oriented mod would be especially when other factions and pirates became a thing. Anyway, I think what you are saying is just proving my point, that centralized moderation based on one specific faction has permeated EVERY NMS sub / HG started putting a lot of faction stuff in game too. Could be simply giving the fans what they want, could be a secret connection to try and steer the ship. I don’t know. I only know that mod chat was a constant swell of drama when things like this happened and a lot of mods were cycled in and out again. I hope that never happens here, I really do, but better to have it and not need it than find out oh yeah History might repeat itself.
