This is how i discovered dr john ~13 or so years ago and i was hooked. So glad i got to see him live before he passed. I even tried to be him in that outfit for a Halloween with a lil keyboard strapped around my neck. I found a similar jacket but had white dots so u dyed it pink but it shrunk so much in the process. Had berét and glasses too. No one knew who i was that Halloween lol but then one random guy yells ‘dr john!’ and confirmed he was cool as fuck
Great choice among a lot of great choices from that show. The Staples Family Singers, Neil Diamond, Dr. John, not to mention The Last Waltz has my very favorite version of Neil Young’s “Helpless”

Was definitely hard to pick just one from such an awesome concert. I watch/listen to it pretty often, will never get tired of it :)
